Chanicka L. Griffith M.A., LPC, LCPAA

Chanicka Griffith attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas where she attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (2003). She then went on to pursue graduate studies at Prairie View A & M University where she received a Master of Arts in Counseling (2005). She became a member of Chi Sigma Iota, the professional honor society for counseling students as well as listed on the “Chancellor’s List 2005”, which highlights the academic achievement of graduate students. As an advocate and professional in the helping field for 16 years, Ms. Griffith has worked in the foster care system as a Licensed Child Placing Agency administrator since 2011. Ms. Griffith's dedication to the mental health field continued as she became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2021.   Ms. Griffith has an extensive history with adults, adolescent, and geriatric community. She has also worked with children and families in the TDFPS system. Ms. Griffith would like to provide therapeutic services and interventions to assist you in finding your sense of peace. Whether your journey's obstacles include emotional barriers, family discord, or building your sense of professional strength, this clinician would like to walk down this journey with you. Ms. Griffith looks forward to partnering with you as you build coping skills, a sense of self-awareness, and a level of daily comfort that fits you and your family.
